VHS, VHS-C, Hi8, Video8 and MiniDV: $25 up to 2 hours, $20 under an hour. Betamax $30. Plus $10 for each extra hour.
Audio cassettes $20 up to 90 minutes, $25 if longer (+$5 to split into tracks). DVDs and mini-DVDs $15, then $10 each after 5. Each recorded side of a disc counts as one disc.
Free inspection. Cleaned here in New Orleans before a tape touches a player: light $15, heavy $35, charged only if we recover footage. Severe or flood damage $75 ($25 if it can't be saved).
Snapped tape spliced for $10. Cracked or jammed cassettes moved into a new shell for $25. Scratched discs cleaned and retried for $10. Unreadable or unfinished camcorder discs: $30 mini-DVD, $50 full-size, transfer included, charged only if we recover footage.
MP4 video and MP3 audio files by download link, included. USB drive $15. Your originals always come back.
Contact us to set up a drop-off. We inspect every tape and disc and quote any cleaning or repair before we start. Blank or store-bought tapes and discs are just a $5 check.

10% off 6 to 14 tapes or cassettes, 20% off 15 or more (DVDs have their own rate). $40 minimum order. If we can't recover a tape or disc, you don't pay to transfer it.

Usually, yes. Light mold cleans off. Heavy mold and flood damage can't always be fully recovered. Cleaning is quoted before we start, light and heavy cleaning is only charged if we recover footage, and if a tape can't be saved you don't pay to transfer it.
Playing it can tear the tape and spread mold to the player's heads, which can damage the next tape too. That's why every moldy tape gets cleaned first.
